What Makes Green-Lipped Mussel So Special?
Sustainably harvested from the pristine waters of New Zealand, Green-Lipped Mussels are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). What makes them truly unique, though, is their content of ETA (Eicosatetraenoic Acid), a rare omega-3 found only in this species, along with joint-supporting nutrients called GAGs, often described as the “glue of life.”
ETA has been studied for its role in supporting the body’s natural inflammation response through multiple pathways. Some research suggests that ETA is even more effective than EPA and DHA in managing inflammation, as it can inhibit the enzymes responsible for producing inflammatory compounds in the body.
